Q&A with Tech Impact Awards Judges
Jenny has worked in the IT channel for almost seven years and started at Highgate IT Solutions in September 2022. Over the last six months, as Sustainability Lead, she has developed Highgate’s CSR strategy and as a result the reseller announced their Carbon Neutral Plus status in February 2022.
Why have you agreed to be a Tech Impact judge?
I am passionate about sustainability both at home and at work. I am keen to drive awareness and encourage others to make changes for the good of the environment. As a judge, I’m looking forward to hearing about the sustainability initiatives that are taking place within the IT channel and helping companies with their CSR strategies.
Name an easy win for resellers and MSPs looking to become more sustainable
Remove all single use plastic and commit to going paperless.
What advice would you give tech solutions providers weighing up whether to enter these awards?
By entering these awards, you are being given the chance to showcase what your company is doing to drive positive change. Whether that’s combatting climate change, supporting communities, reducing your carbon footprint or something else, these actions are ones that should be commended.
