Ian was a founder of the Wick Hill Group, an international award-winning value-added distributor focused on cybersecurity and continued that for a number of years as director when they were then acquired by Nuvias.

Ian is co-founder of Tech Channel Ambassadors, a CIC dedicated to changing the lives of students by introducing them to opportunities in the IT supply chain.

He is trustee and chair of The STEM Generation Charity, which supports investigative science education in primary schools.

He is also a trustee of Make 2nd count, a leading charity giving hope to those with secondary breast cancer.

In addition to this, Ian is a Non-Executive Director at Northamber plc.
