Chris is an HR professional with 30 years experience in a variety of sectors. Following her degree in Social Psychology, Chris wanted to apply these concepts in industry, leading to a career in HR. Starting in recruitment, the NHS and professional services, she expanded her experience to include manufacturing, then onto a variety of leadership roles in energy, construction and technology & communications. Chris has always focused on employee engagement and in more recent years has been keen to make diversity part of mainstream business practice in order to drive engagement and business success.
Chris aims to create an environment where employees are empowered and enabled to be at their best. Key to this is embracing and actively promoting inclusivity; diversity and belonging lies at the heart of a successful business. She is passionate about driving an inclusive culture where everyone is welcome, and every voice is heard. A culture where people feel they belong, can be themselves and feel inspired to share different perspectives.
Outside of work, Chris likes to spend time with family and friends. She is a self confessed foodie and enjoys both cooking and eating and has recently started growing her own produce on her allotment.”
