CRN Women in Channel Awards 2020

We were staggered by the amount of nominations we received this year - over 800 nominations! It shows that even in the current pandemic it is so important for businesses to celebrate and recognise their employees - CRN Women in Channel Awards are more important than ever!

CRN Women in Channel Awards are back for their third year! We are thrilled that nominations are now open for the 2020 awards.  The winners will be announced at our special awards ceremony on Thursday 15 October at The Brewery in London.

It's no secret that the technology industry suffers a diversity problem. Walk into any mainstream tech event and you could probably count the number of women on your hand. The same goes for boardrooms, with many companies still struggling to promote women into senior roles.

We feel that shouting about the accomplishments of women in the channel - not because they are women, but because their accomplishments are worth shouting about - can play an important role in tackling the issue.

From graduate newcomers to some of our top leaders and entrepreneurs, entries to the CRN Women in Channel Awards reflected a strong desire to shine a light on best practice, wherever it is happening in the UK channel.

The awards will recognise the achievements of the entrepreneurs, leaders and exceptional employees who can act as role models for young females considering a career in this fast-paced, dynamic industry.

If you know a woman like that - or you are one yourself - take a look at our categories and get nominating!

2019 Highlights

Our Mission Statement

More diverse organisations are known to make better decisions.

And yet most companies in our sector are still run and staffed largely by men. Scan the audience of any industry event, and - likewise - you will be greeted by a sea of male faces.

How best to break this status quo - at a time when the winds of change are blowing through wider society - will be a central theme of CRN's Women in Channel campaign.

But firms can only do so much at an individual level. It is only by coming together to raise awareness and share ideas on this important topic that the dial can be moved.

As the voice of the UK IT channel, CRN will over the coming months act as a much-needed focal point for debate and research around the channel's painful gender diversity deficit and how best to tackle it. Our only goal is that, one day soon, such a campaign will no longer be necessary.
