John McGarvie is the Channel Sales Director for the UK&I region at Progress covering the distribution, VAR, SI and MSP communities.

With 30 years’ of sales experience, largely in channels, John firmly believes in the spirit of trust and openness in developing partnerships through collaboration to a mutually successful outcome.

John excels in building and leading high performance teams in the IT industry having done so successfully with large organisations including Compuware, Fujitsu-Siemens and Samsung.

John is a Business Studies graduate from Leeds Beckett University and holds a number of leadership certifications from Harvard Manage Mentor.
